WE ARE A REGISTERED 501(C)3 CHARITY Rochelle's Boots On The Ground is a non-profit organization that was created out of a little girl’s concern and desire to reach out to the men and women of our Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guardsmen and Reserves) called up to active duty and supply them with many daily consumer items we Americans take for granted. While in theaters of wr, our men and women in uniform have little or no chance of getting things as basic as: bubble gum, flavored drinks, cookies, chips, granola bars, peanuts, etc. These items not only bring a smile to a patriot’s face it makes their difficult job just a little more bearable. RBOTG's sole mission is to fill this daunting need on an individual basis. While there are many great Americans and organizations that send care packages to the troops every month. RBOTG strives to personalize every care package, so each service member gets what THEY need. Every box is PERSONALIZED with a note from one of the children to that specific service member. From the President of the organization, to the most junior member, every box sent overseas gets that personal touch from one of the kids. of Rochelle's Boots On The Ground: We felt it necessary to update our site. In the hopes of continue communication with our Soldiers, Friends & Family you can now connect with us through Facebook. Look us up . . . ROCHELLE'S BOOTS ON THE GROUND. Why? Because...It's user friendly, it's free to use, and a great way to make new friends, re-connect with old friends & family members, and reach those from different parts of the country...including our soldiers abroad. We all want to stay connected...Mothers, Fathers, Wives, Husbands, Daughters, Sons, and extended families to our men and women who are sacrificing their lives for our safety and freedom here in the United States. This is an opportunity to do so. What are other ways you can help? For those who aren’t able to volunteer their time, remember there are many other ways to get involved and support the Rochelle’s Boots on the Ground. Become a partner, make a tax deductible monetary contribution, you can even make a gift in honor of someone’s current or past military service, or a memorial contribution, join Rochelle’s Boots on the Ground, come to one of our Boxing Days... either way... participated and helped out on our Boxing Day at the
VA Hospital, Winter Park, Florida on Sunday afternoon
(February 27, 2011). Your packages and well wishes will
lift our troop’s spirits at a time when they are
away from their friends and family. Your time and
thoughtfulness is so very much appreciated. What a true
blessing to see such an outpouring of love. It goes
without saying that there are still many Americans who
believe and support our troops. With your help today
we boxed 120 boxes!
